Explanation and identity
We have a website that is open to the public. Visiting our website will give you the opportunity to learn more about us and the services we provide.
We are the “data controller” (i.e. the company which decides the means and purpose for the processing of your personal data) for the purpose of applicable data protection law.
Okay, so here we go!
So far, we don’t have the possibility to leave a comment but in case you would leave a comment we will store your comment of course and collect your IP address and which browser you used in order to help detect spam.
After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
If you upload images to our website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Other people could download and extract any location data from those images, so just try to avoid that.
For example, if you leave a comment on our site or place an order you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies.
These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices.
Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year.
If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks.
If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
Embedded content from other websites
Our webpages may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Imagine that we have a television on our webpage that is showing the content from a different website, which means that you are watching content from a different website on our website. That’s the easiest explanation we can come up with.
If you register an account and place an order we will store all necessary information used for invoices, your account and subscribing you to our newsletter. If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
Who we share your data with
Nobody because why should we share or sell your information. However big brother Google is always watching but that does not include your personal information only your IP address and webbrowser to determine from where and what type of device you are visiting our website.
How long we retain your data
Only as long as necessary, meaning:
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata will be stored indefinitely.
If you register on our website, we also store the personal information you provide in your user profile as long as you have this account. You can always see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except you cannot change your username). Website administrators can also see and edit your information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on our webpages, or have left any comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
You may be checked through an automated spam detection service but it will not include personal information and will not be stored.
