Explanation and identity

In these Terms and Conditions the words “We”, “Us”, “Our” and “Ours” refer to the trade name Business Club Côte d’Azur and registered with the French Chamber of Commerce under registration number 885 253 393 and having an address of 1809 Avenue Rhin et Danube, 06140 Vence, France (“Business Club Côte d’Azur”).

We don’t have that many rules because we like to keep it simple and understandable. So here we go!

Some special Covid-19 measures

Strangers: If an event is cancelled you will be 100% refunded

Socialisers: Your membership fee is a compensation for gaining access to several benefits, including free access to meetups but also online content. In case we can’t organise meetups we will offer you a discount on your next year’s subscription or refund for the month(s) that we couldn’t organise a meetup. Tickets purchased for other events will be 100% refunded.

Networkers: Your membership fee is a compensation for the on-going personal networking service and access to online content and will not suffer from any Covid restrictions. Tickets purchased for events will be 100% refunded.

Memberships

We reserve the right to refuse your membership at any time if we suspect or have reason to believe that something is wrong. You will of course receive a refund for the unused period of your membership.

Membership Payments, automatic renewal and refunds

All memberships are billed annually and in advance. Your membership will be automatically renewed and the same card will be charged until you change it. You can stop the automatic renewal of your membership at any time through your online account or by sending us an email. Once your membership is renewed, we will not refund any payments made.

Events

If we believe that it’s better to change the date of an event, we can. This most likely will only happen when the weather is really bad and it was meant as an outdoor event or when there is a serious health risk.

During the events we ask you to respect and follow the specific instructions, if there are any.

Unfortunately we have to say it, we reserve the right to refuse entry to an event if you have not claimed or bought a ticket, ignore the instructions or behave in an unacceptable way.

And you are responsible for getting home safely, meaning don’t drink too much for example and just call a taxi.

Event Ticket Payments and refunds

All event tickets are paid in advance through our online ticketing platform. You can cancel upon 72 hours prior to the event and receive a full refund. Within 72 hours before the event we can’t accept refunds however you could send us an email if you wish to transfer your ticket to someone else.

Photos and videos

During every event we will take photos and videos. We will use these on our website and social media platforms, such as YouTube and Instagram. Attending our events means you will automatically give us the rights to do this. If you don’t want to be included, let us know before the event starts and we will of course respect your request without asking questions!

Copyright

Business Club Côte d’Azur asserts its full rights as copyright owner of all material that has been captured, processed and/or produced by us, whether or not such material forms part of a finished project. The copyright of all produced material is solely owned by us and is protected under The Dutch Copyright Act.

Changes

We can always update and change these Terms and Conditions. You can consult this webpage at any time for the latest version of our Terms and Conditions and they will be mentioned during every purchase.
